Blue Mountain Medical Center is a unique clinic tailored to the healthcare needs of residents in our community. We have two procedure rooms and a mini-C arm, allowing us to perform surgery with dynamic imaging right in the office. We use either local anesthesia or a regional anesthesia block that does not require expensive monitoring or the cost of an anesthesiologist. By cutting out the costs of a facility fee, expensive monitoring, a large surgical team and an anesthesiologist, we are able to do most procedures at a fraction of the normal cost.
Blue Mountain was founded by Dr. Kelley Wear, a visionary board-certified, fellowship-trained hand and wrist surgeon who desired to reduce healthcare costs while still practicing the specialty she loves.
The principals of our practice are grounded in professionalism, competence, integrity and ethics. As such, we find healthcare that puts corporate profits over your best interests intolerable.
At Blue Mountain Medical Center, we have cut out the middle entity, the insurance company. The cost of taking private insurance is enormous, requiring a full-time employee simply to try and collect money from corporations that we have already earned and to fight for services that our patients need.
The Blue Mountain Model creates a win-win situation for our patients.
By cutting out insurance companies, we are able to spend more time with our patients at a much lower cost. We are able to do many procedures using regional blocks and local anesthesia, sparing our patients the need to pay a facility fee, an anesthesiologist, and an operating room staff. Finally, we are able to offer you a fully transparent itemized invoice without hidden costs and corporate shenanigans. At the end of the day, we can be rest assured that we have delivered the best patient care in Colorado at the most reasonable rate possible.
Currently, we have a self-pay model, offer memberships and offer care credit for those who cannot pay in full at the time of service.
